Blogger Question: Display Name

"Mrs. R" is going to be my temporary display name, I think. It just doesn't suit me! ;) I was wondering, though, can two people share the same display name? I was expecting Blogger to turn down my choice, but it accepted "Mrs. R". I just thought I had seen that name around here before...

I don't want to be Mrs. R if there is already a Mrs. R! ;)

Any better display name ideas? You know me. Judging by my old name, I'm just not too creative.

it does sound old-ish, and kind of formal. Is there a reason you don't want to continue with just your first name? I do realize what's going on in bloggerland, but I would much rather give my first name than my last.

Many bloggers can have the exact same display name but no two bloggers can have the same exact blog address. The display name doesn't pass by Blogger approval and can be changed a myriad of times by the blogmistress/master via their profile page ~ the blog name that is part of the URL requires approval.

Hope this helps! JOYce :-)

Hey I agree with what everyone is saying or you could use a nickname for you. I too changed my blog since I had a lot of information out there I didn't want out. I hope this helps.

So glad to see you back and posting again, you were missed! I am also glad to see you taking some precautions--very wise.

I have decided to use a pen name in my blogging and am asking my readers to help me choose. (o:

Many Blessings!

While "Mrs R" sounds formal, I choose to use "Mrs W" so that nobody knows who I am except the people that already know me. Besides there is NOTHING wrong with sounding formal. You could also make up a name if you want such as "Betty" (I know your name so I'm purposely using things that aren't your name as examples lol). Or just blog under the display name "Paths of Peace" if you want to. Those are just some ideas anyway.

Thank y'all for your help and good information! I've decided to go back to "Jordin." Much simpler, and it suits me for some reason. ;)
