It's getting close...

I absolutely cannot believe it's been over a month since I've posted. It's amazing how fast time flies when you're having fun! ;) Yes, I am having fun. Praise the Lord!!! Things were miserable for a while, but the Lord brought me out of pregnancy sickness and delivered me from a stinky house. ;) We've officially finished moving into our new home, and it has been such a blessing. Matt and I continuously laugh about how I can walk in the door without holding Vicks VapoRub under my nose, or how I can cook meals and do laundry. I think he is even happier about it than I am!

Being a homemaker is WONDERFUL. I don't think I even realized how blessed I was to take care of my family until I couldn't do it. That's usually the way it works, though, right? On Thursday, my birthday, I vowed I wasn't going to do anything--I was just going to sit around and be lazy. I guess it was the nesting instinct or something, but I just couldn't sit down! I did laundry, cleaned the house, color-coded Matt's side of the closet, and made a cheesecake. ;) It was a good feeling!

Thank you to all those who prayed for me. Looking back, I don't know how I made it through that time without becoming very depressed. I know it had to be the Lord's help and your prayers that made the difference. In pregnancy news, everything is going great. I failed my glucose screening test and had to take the glucose tolerance test this week, but the results came back normal, so we were relieved. And trust me, when they say "tolerance," they aren't kidding. ;) It takes a lot of tolerance, to say the least! I am officially in my THIRD TRIMESTER!!! Woo-hoo!!! Every time the baby wiggles or kicks, I feel so blessed. His daddy and I are really anticipating his birth! I feel wonderful. I'm not sick at all, just a little tired (I'm actually taking a nap during the day--which is very unusual for me). I'm also quite emotional lately, so I have to tell myself, "It's just the hormones, it's just the hormones." Pregnancy is a funny thing, isn't it? :)
I'm glad to return to the blog world as an excited, happy blogger! For a while there, I thought, "I bet these people are tired of hearing me whine and complain," but you stuck with me! Thank you for all of your emails, too. Communicating one-on-one with a sister in Christ is so sweet. I'll be back soon, I promise! If I can get my camera going, I'll snap a few pictures of the new house, and maybe even my ever-growing belly. Although I'm not so sure, with all the crazy things that are happening in the blog world lately. :(

So you live my friend! I had been wondering about you. Reading your update has brought a smile to my face. Glad to know that everything is going so well for you, Mrs R. :D There I stopped myself before I wrote the "wrong" name! ;o)

About taking pictures of your home and self...

Notice on my blog how my garden pictures don't show my home, or barely at times (on my other blog). Bits and pieces but nothing you can put together that says **jane's house**. As to taking your preggie picture, don't photograph your face (for blog-safety purposes), just your sweet self full with child.

Bless you dearly.

Whoa! I just re-read your post and you mentioned something about your birthday. Did we miss your birthday? Obviously we did. Gracious sakes alive why don't you TELL someone these important things, Missy?! Oh. You did. Kind of.

Jane,

Good idea. I know y'all want to see a big belly picture (if you're anything like me!), so I'll get it out as soon as I can!

And, yes, my birthday was last week. Thanks for the birthday wishes! I failed to mention that--AND my one year blogging anniversary (which was December 28th, I think). I was too sick to post anything about it, but I had a great idea for it! I guess I'll have to make up for it next year... ;)
