Window "Mis"treatments

If you've spent any time at The Nesting Place or The Sparrow's Nest, you know exactly what "mis"treaments are! ;)

If you notice the curtains in this post, you'll see that I'm in the process of committing one of the biggest decorating no-no's in the book: my curtains are much too short!

Here is how I'm planning to fix it (Nesting Place style. No sewing involved. My kind of decorating!):
  • Cut out a piece of brown and white toile fabric (long enough to make my curtain reach the floor)
  • Hot glue the fabric to the curtain.
  • Hot glue on some brown tassle-y fringe to hide the seam.
  • Finished! :)
I'll show you the finished product when it's done!

Have you "mis"treated anything in your home yet? :)

Yes, indeedy!

I've mistreated my kitchen windows with drapes from just above the window to the floor,

and,

I've mistreated my bedroom slider using deep green sheets of all things. It works! And they look great. :o)
