Our weekend

It's amazing how much busier life gets after you have a baby! Our weekends are now spent hauling Johnathan around to his grandparents' homes (remember--he has FOUR sets of grandparents)! I'm glad he's such an easygoing baby who doesn't mind being carted everywhere! On Saturday morning, we had our family picture taken for our church directory. It was neat to have our first photos taken as a family of three! After we finished that, we stopped to see my parents, and then we headed off to Matt's parents' condominium for some fun in the sun! Johnathan enjoyed hanging out by the pool with his mama, and the two of us enjoyed watching Matt act like a kid again in the pool! It won't be long before Johnathan can splash around in the water...
During our Sunday evening church service, we had Johnathan's dedication. It was such a sweet service. Our entire family came to witness it (we took up about three pews!). Matt and I feel so blessed to not only be called children of God ourselves, but to have the opportunity to train Johnathan up in the way he should go. We are thankful for the support of our family as well. Being surrounded by our Christian family members and our church family certainly makes parenting easier! Here is a picture of Johnathan with our pastor at last night's service. He looks so tiny in our "big" pastor's arms!
After such an eventful weekend, it's nice to be able to stay at home this week! I hope to get some major homemaking tasks done over the next few days. I'll keep y'all posted!
