This is Johnathan! You haven't seen him since he was tiny! He's 8 months old now, and he just learned to crawl this week. He's growing much too quickly; Matt and I marvel over him every day. He's such a miracle; when Matt and I are watching him sleep, I still smile and whisper, "We made him!" Absolutely amazing! He's a happy, smiley, very outgoing baby who loves to "talk" to everyone who will listen. He's learned his first "real" word--which, as an English major, I'm kind of embarrassed to admit. He says "hey!" to everyone. Not "Hi" or "Hello," but "hey," which is very Southern and a tad bit improper. But we think it's the cutest thing in the world. :)In other news, we just learned that baby #2 is another boy! We are so excited that Johnathan will have a brother only 1 year and 8 days younger than him. A c-section has been scheduled for June 5th.
I've been so busy trying to keep up with Johnathan and life in general. This pregnancy is wearing me out, probably because I'm simultaneously dealing with a small baby. I've had to rely heavily on the Lord for strength, and even joy. I've struggled with bouts of depression this time around, which has been difficult. But the Lord has been my fortress, and I'm able to combat those feelings, which I'm very thankful for.
That's about it for me! I would love to post more, but at this season in my life it's just not realistic for me. I wonder how some women do it! I'm completely consumed by taking care of Johnathan, helping my extended family, church, housework, etc! Not to mention the gazillion doctor's appointments between me and Johnathan! :) Hopefully, once the new baby comes along and I have more energy (remind me of that statement this time next year...) I will be able to blog more. In the meantime, I'm enjoying taking some time to read your blogs and see what you're up to! For those of you whose blogs I don't visit now, will you direct me to yours? I would love to get to know you!
I'll pop back in when I can! In the meantime, if you'd like to contact me for any reason, please do so! I've enjoyed keeping up with some of you via email. :)

Hello,
Thanks for noticing your blog "Watchers" I am not sure how I came across your blog.... I've been on blogger for a long time but I only use the basics.
You were an English major! How great! That should help you write great blogs. I was a math major so my English is some what choppy ;)
It's good to hear from you, Jordin.
Johnathan is adorable! How wonderful that he will have a brother so close in age. Rest up while you can. My oldest two are close in age, and it is tiring at first, but they soon make such good playmates!
I'm so glad to hear you're doing well! I don't know why, but I've been thinking of you lately and wondering how you've been doing. It sounds like you've been a busy lady :)
Johnathan is just adorable! He's getting so big. Isn't it a blessing to be present for all of his "firsts". I remember how excited I was when my daughter began to crawl and walk. I called my husband at work right away so he could "be there" too (via phone).
I have trouble keeping up with my blog as well. It seems like everytime I think of something interesting to write about, Grace is in need of something and *poof* the idea is gone. Like you said, it's much easier to read other people's blogs right now.
It's great that you have your priorities straight Jordin. I do miss you here in blogland though :) You'll be in my prayers as you approach your transition to mommy of two!
I've been wondering how you are doing! Johnathan is SO adorable and he's grown so much :) Keep us posted when you can - I know it's hard with a little one and another on the way, but we'll take whatever updates we can get!
Hey Jordin, My Family and I have been praying for you , for Matt, for Johnathan and for the newest blessing to be born this summer.
God Bless,
Mrs.Garcia
Well isn't he just ooooodles of cuteness!!! Thank you so much for sharing a picture of your little man and for letting us know how you're doing, news about little man #2, and you personally.
I'm lifting you up in prayer, dear friend. <><
Oh, I'm so glad you all are doing well; I was wondering when you might have time to post an update. :o) That is exciting about a little brother for Johnathan -- who is so big and absolutely adorable, by the way! Make sure to stay rested and don't worry too much about us. We're still here and we'll check in every once in a while :o)

How **wonderful** to 'see' you again, Jordin. Thanks for stopping by my blog and making me feel better that you too enjoyed the yumminess of Chick fil A. :o) You gave me a good chuckle when you shared that Johnathan ate half that ice dream. wow! hehe.
You feeling okay at this stage of pregnancy? Anything I can pray for specifically? I think of you and yours so often. So glad you visited. :o)
Hi Jordin,
I just love your new
background, I reminds me of some really neat scrapbooking ideas that I had, along with simply some of my favorite style and colors schemes. Sure glad to hear and see you back on the blogging path again. You are sure missed when you are not here, can't you tell. You are such a sweet person with a lot of good Christian values to share with your good Christians friends and family members like us......Right!
